Tencent’s New Patent Can Encrypt and Hide Chat Conversations

On October 24th, Tencent Technology (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. was granted a patent for the “method, device, terminal and storage medium for displaying chat conversations”.

The abstract shows that the method includes: displaying a password input interface for hiding conversations, obtaining the password entered in the password input interface; displaying a hidden conversation interface corresponding to the password. The technical solution provided in this application embodiment realizes transferring some necessary chat conversations from the main interface to a hidden conversation interface for display, avoiding others from viewing the chat conversation from the main interface and improving its security. Furthermore, in the technical solution provided in this application embodiment, users need to enter a password before entering the hidden conversation interface, further enhancing the security of chat conversations.
