iQOO Z6 Lite to Use Snapdragon 4 Gen 1
Qualcomm announced its newest processors, the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 and Snapdragon 4 Gen 1, on September 6. Following the announcement, Chinese smartphone maker iQOO said on September 7 that it will release the new Z6 Lite model on September 14 in India and will use the Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 as the main processor.
As the first 6nm 4-series platform, the Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 boasts impressive performance and extra long battery life. The platform offers performance improvements of up to 15% for the CPU and up to 10% for the GPU compared to the previous generation 2, allowing users to smoothly multitask and enjoy immersive entertainment. Utilizing premium camera technology, the Snapdragon 4 includes a triple ISP and Multi-Frame Noise Reduction for crisp, detailed photos. Meanwhile, the Qualcomm AI Engine makes device usage even more seamless and intuitive. Users can now receive assistance in an instant with always-on voice assistants or have clear-sounding conversations owing to the device’s echo and background noise suppression.
The Snapdragon 4 harnesses the Snapdragon X51 5G Modem-RF System for blazing fast 2.5Gbps peak 5G download speeds, and FastConnect 6200 for premium 2×2 Wi-Fi and Bluetooth to make every endeavor a breeze.

According to several leaks, the iQOO Z6 Lite will feature a 6.58-inch screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, but it is not clear whether the screen will be LCD or AMOLED. The will be available in 4GB+64GB and 6GB+128GB storage versions, with a large 5000mAh battery which supports 18W charging. It has an 8 megapixel selfie lens, rear dual camera module, one of which is a 13 megapixel lens. As for the price, it will probably cost less than Rs 15,000 ($188).
