Data Infrastructure Developer Timeplus Secures Seed-Round Financing
TimePlus, a real-time data analysis infrastructure platform with streaming data as the core, announced on July 8 its completion of seed-round financing led by GL Ventures. Other co-investors and expert advisers include Jeremy Kranz, the head of GIC’s Technology Investment Group, Rory Sexton, the former senior vice president of Apple, and others.
Timeplus, established at the end of November, 2021, offers a new generation of data infrastructure platform, focusing on streaming data analysis. Wang Ting, the founder of TimePlus, said that from the perspective of industry trends, real-time data represented by IoT/machine behavior, application behavior and interactive behavior is growing at the fastest rate.
Gartner also predicts that more than 50% of enterprise applications need real-time data analysis capabilities to improve operational efficiency. At the same time, the overall actual utilization rate of data is less than 5%, and the utilization rate of real-time data is lower, which means the growth potential is significant.
The founding team of TimePlus brings more than 15 years of practical experience in the software industry. Based on years of engineering practice and technological innovation, they have created a cloud native stream data analysis platform, which can help enterprises achieve higher business agility.
Wang Ting introduced that streaming data infrastructure can help enterprises make better use of streaming data in logistics monitoring, intelligent manufacturing, real-time financial fraud, real-time marketing, and the monitoring of smart cars. Timeplus has officially released the Beta version of its products, attracting various global customers and partners.
