BYD Opens Eight Stores in Japan Within Six Months
July 31st news, BYD Japan announced that its authorized dealer Wing will open the store ‘BYD AUTO Yamanashi’ in Kofu City, Yamanashi Prefecture on August 4th. This is also BYD’s eighth store in Japan.
BYD Japan stated that this newly opened store will be the first store in the Koshinetsu region. The new store is located along Art Museum Street, approximately 2 kilometers away from the “Kofu Showa IC” on the Central Highway, with convenient transportation.

The Yamanashi store will permanently display the on-sale mid-size electric SUV ‘ATTO 3’ (Yuan PLUS overseas version). In addition to business negotiations and test drive services, service personnel specially trained by BYD will also provide vehicle inspection, repair, and maintenance services at the store.
According to previous reports, BYD opened its first store in Yokohama, Japan in February this year. The company’s goal is to have over 100 showrooms nationwide in Japan by the end of 2025. In addition to the newly opened Yamanashi store, BYD plans to open two stores in Adachi and Hiroshima in early September.
