Tesla Roadster Pure Electric Sports Vehicle Has Again Open Reservations in China
On May 31st, it was reported that Tesla China reopened the reservation page for the new Roadster electric sports car on the evening of May 30th. The deposit remains at RMB 332,000 (about $46,700 USD) and can be refunded at any time before delivery.
The car was previously available for pre-order in March 2019 and April 2022 in the domestic market, but Tesla has not yet announced its final price or delivery date.
During a recent shareholder meeting, Musk stated that he expects to complete the engineering design of the new generation Roadster sports car this year and hopes to begin mass production by late 2024.

The all-new Tesla Roadster is positioned as a pure electric sports car, with its enclosed front grille and sleek body lines giving it a futuristic feel. The new car features a hardtop convertible design, with a panoramic glass roof that is lightweight and easy to remove for storage in the trunk.
In terms of power, the all-new Roadster is equipped with an electric motor that delivers peak torque of 10,000 Nm, allowing it to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in just 2.1 seconds and reach a top speed of over 400 km/h. Despite its outstanding performance capabilities, the new Tesla Roadster has a maximum range of up to 1000 kilometers on a single charge.
