NIO’s “App Store” Launches on September 22nd with 40+ Apps

On September 21st, at today’s NIO IN 2023 NIO Innovation and Technology Day, NIO Intelligent Cockpit launched the “App Store”, with more than 40 apps set to be available starting tomorrow (September 22nd).

According to the introduction, “App Store” is a vehicle-end integrated ecological platform for high-quality content established by NIO for users. Many partners create native app content under the premise of safely accessing vehicle-end capabilities.

By the end of September, it is expected that there will be over 40 apps launched on the “App Store”, including 7 industry-first applications such as Xiaohongshu, Tencent Smart Parking, and Ximalaya Panoramic Sound.

NIO held the NIO IN 2023 NIO Innovation Technology Day today. The event took place at the Baoshan Golden Furnace, China Baowu Steel and Iron Industry Expo Center in Shanghai. During the Q2 2023 earnings conference call, William Li stated that “the launch of the mobile phone will help increase the competitiveness of our vehicles. Currently, we plan to deliver the mobile phone products in late September.”
