BYD to Unveil Multiple Electric Vehicles at IAA 2023 Munich Motor Show
On August 22nd, BYD officially announced that it will showcase six electric vehicles and new technologies at the IAA 2023 in Munich. It will also debut its luxury sub-brand Denza to European audiences for the first time, with a focus on showcasing the Denza D9.

BYD will launch the Seal U in Europe for the first time. The new car has two versions: Comfort and Design. The Comfort version is equipped with a 71.8kW blade battery, with a WLTP range of 420 kilometers; while the Design version is equipped with an 87kWh battery, with a WLTP range of 500 kilometers.
At the same time, the Seal EV is expected to be launched in sync with the Seal U this autumn. These models will join the Dolphin, Tang, and ATTO 3 that are currently being sold in the European Union. By the end of this year, BYD’s total number of vehicle models will reach six.
