Lenovo: Will Launch AI Personal Computers in the Second Half of Next Year
On the 24th and 25th, Lenovo Group Limited held the 9th Global Tech World Event in Austin, Texas. Lenovo showcased its artificial intelligence personal computer (AI PC) products at the conference. Yang Yuanqing, Chairman and CEO of Lenovo Group Limited, stated after the conference that Lenovo will launch such products in the second half of next year.
Currently, the global computer industry is positioning itself for the arrival of the new era of Artificial Intelligence (AI). According to Lenovo, their AI personal computers are capable of creating personalized local knowledge bases and running large-scale models through model compression technology, enabling natural interaction between users and artificial intelligence.
Lenovo Group Limited also showcased a range of future-oriented artificial intelligence devices, including AI smartphones, AI workstations, and personal and enterprise-level large models.

Yang Yuanqing said, “The future personal computers will be artificial intelligence computers, the future smartphones will be artificial intelligence smartphones, and the future workstations will be artificial intelligence workstations. Intelligent devices are an extension of users’ digital selves, like their twins. We call them ‘personal AI twins’.”
In addition to showcasing its artificial intelligence technology and products, Lenovo also announced the deepening of cooperation with Microsoft, NVIDIA, and other companies.
Several executives from American technology companies shared their cutting-edge perspectives on artificial intelligence at the conference. Pat Gelsinger, CEO of Intel, said that computing is entering a new era and becoming the foundation for economic development and human survival in all aspects. With the support of artificial intelligence, system automation and agency will be further enhanced to assist humans in completing knowledge-based tasks and physical labor, becoming an integral part of human environment.
