Huawei Denies Signing Mobile Procurement Agreements with Multiple Governments

Recently, there have been reports on social media platforms that countries such as Russia, Venezuela, and Saudi Arabia have placed orders for brand new 5G smartphones from Huawei. These reports have been widely shared by multiple platforms and accounts.

On the late night of the 18th (Beijing time), Huawei’s official Weibo account ‘菊厂阿华’ posted a statement saying that the information about ‘Russia, Saudi Arabia, Venezuela, and other governments signing mobile phone procurement agreements with Huawei’ is false.

Huawei stated that the rumor-mongers have no basis and are causing trouble. They are spreading the same information across multiple platforms and accounts. Please do not believe or spread it, and report it promptly.

Previously, Huawei has released the Mate60 Pro, followed by pre-sales of the Mate 60 Pro+ and foldable screen X5. On September 14th, Huawei announced on multiple official social media accounts that they will hold a Huawei Autumn Full-Scene New Product Launch Event at 2:30 pm on September 25th. It is reported that during the event, Huawei will unveil its new smartphone products.

On September 19th, Huawei’s official Weibo account once again stated that Huawei will release the flagship product, Huawei MatePad Pro 13.2 inches, on September 25th.

It is worth noting that September 25th is also the day when Huawei’s Meng Wanzhou returned to China by plane. On the evening of September 25 (Beijing time), 2021, Meng Wanzhou arrived at Shenzhen Bao’an International Airport.
