The Upcoming OnePlus 11 to Adopt Stronger Motor for Haptic Feedback And Other Advanced Tech
Chinese smartphone brand OnePlus and electroacoustic components manufacturer AAC Technologies jointly released their new motor that powers haptic feedback and other smartphone vibrations at a technology summit held on December 29. The new component will make its debut in the upcoming flagship smartphone OnePlus 11, which is scheduled for launch on January 4.

OnePlus stated that the motor is the only device available with a volume exceeding 600mm³ on Android mobile phones. The larger the volume is, the greater the mass of the oscillator and the stronger the sense of vibration will be. Further, the motor is equipped with the latest Android algorithms. Among them, a low-frequency enhancement algorithm will expand the vibration limit into the lower depths of frequencies and bring a breath-like vibration experience. A mixed wave algorithm allows two kinds of vibration to occur at the same time, delivering a much more real haptic kick during use.
Compared with the iPhone 14 Pro motor, the new haptic motor equipped on the OnePlus 11 is equal to or surpasses that of the iPhone when comparing steady vibration amount, start time, stop time and bandwidth of the vibrations.
The OnePlus 11 will use the motor with a variety of apps which will in turn create a consistent user experience. The motor combines the adaptative ability of OnePlus and AAC Technologies, as well as the support provided by popular third-party applications, including popular games and applications, more than three input method editors and over 500 system vibration effects.
The Chinese smartphone maker has already announced two premiere technologies to be equipped on its newest model, including the “Game Cloud Computing Private Network” and “Memory Gene Recombination” technology. According to OnePlus’s introduction, the former is the first technology in the industry to improve a users’ gaming experience in a weak network environment. The tech can ensure that any high delay times of games are reduced by 99.43%, and the gaming ping can keep stable in weak network environments.
The “Memory Gene Recombination” is claimed to be the most thorough reconstruction of an Android phones’ memory in the industry so far, which changes the Android memory mechanism from the root and completely solves efficiency problems for when the access, recycling and allocation of memory are not enough. The OnePlus 11 can keep up to 44 commonly used apps alive in the background.
The OnePlus 11 is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 platform as well as a super-large memory configuration of up to 16GB and a memory combination of UFS 4.0 + LPDDR5X. In terms of appearance, the device has two color options, black and green, which were inspired by colors that often appear in photos of the distant universe. Louis Li, the President of OnePlus China, disclosed that the model adopts the design of “Black Hole Inspiration Aesthetics.”
According to previously leaked information on China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology certification platform, the OnePlus 11 weighs 205 grams and has a body size of 163.1 × 74.1 × 8. 53mm. It adopts a 6.7-inch 3216 × 1440 resolution AMOLED screen, supports 1.07 billion colors and hosts an in-display fingerprint sensor. Equipped with the Android operating system, it has a front 16MP camera, and has 50MP + 48MP + 32MP trio cameras in the rear.
